The subs are Alpine Type-R SWR-1222Ds and are the 2+2 ohm version giving you 4 ohms individually or 2 ohms paralleled. They each will handle 500W RMS/1500 Peak. Most amps work good with a 2 ohm configuration. The box is a Bassworx Gloss Series so you know the box is properly designed will take the pounding these subs can produce. I'm looking to get $300 as this setup retails for $850 before taxes from Best Buy or Futureshop. I purchased these thinking I needed lots of bass and well, these produce a little too much for me so I ended up getting a single 12".
