Why should we be considering buying land in the United Kingdom? The arguments for land as an investment are powerful and compelling.
Despite economic recession and recent fluctuations in the housing market, land simply represents the surest and most secure investment we can have, one that will surely increase in value over time.
Whether we are seeking our own security, that of our children or looking to future generations, the land will be there, it will not go away. We are all only too aware that we have but one world, one cake from which we all must eat, one finite resource that must meet all our needs.
A rapidly rising population means that demands are increasing equally rapidly: housing, food, entertainment, leisure and sporting services and their attendant infrastructure – all depend on the land we stand on. And increasing awareness of the impacts on our environment through changes in climate and land use means that people are more concerned that land should be managed sustainably to deliver human needs.
Investment in land represents an investment in and commitment to the community and the country.
